Nicholas Richard McLaren Chappell (born February 1961) studied languages (French, German and Spanish) before spending 3 years in Australia and then taking a position with the marketing arm of Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines in 1984.   He joined Towry Law Group in Windsor, England in September 1994 and became a senior consultant for them in 1997.  He joined their premier advisory team as Associate Director in 1999, and was promoted to Associate Sales Director, the highest grade of consultant status, a year later.   Nicholas moved to the international division of Towry Law in 2001, in South Africa, and then moved to the company’s Spanish office in late 2002.  Nicholas formed McLaren Asset Management S.L. in July 2004.  

Nicholas is married to Kate, and they live in Marbella with their two sons, Samuel and Oliver, and daughter, Imogen.
